Welcome to Greater Boston Medical Associates

GBMA was founded in 1992 by Dr. Martin Gelman and has been providing care in medical diseases of the kidney and hypertension. Dr. Gelman and associates have affiliations with several hospitals in the greater Boston area including Hallmark Health, Cambridge Health Alliance, Caritas St. Elizabeths Medical Center, and Milford Regional Medical Center.

The practice has slowly evolved to more recently accepting patients for general medical care in internal medicine and primary care. The specialty care is still a large part of the services but because of the overall need for primary care this segment is becoming a growing segment that we are pleased to provide.

As of December 1, 2010 the Sidhu medical practice in Milford, MA will become part of GBMA and will be known as Gelman and Associates. Dr. Gelman, after training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, has been serving patients in the Milford area for over 20 years and brought the first dialysis unit to the area and allowed kidney patients access to transplantation at both U. Mass. Medical Center and Mass. General Hospital.

Now, with the addition of other associates and Jennifer Stockbridge NP. who practiced at several large clinics in the Boston area and taught at Boston College for four years, we can provide a wide range of general medical needs to the Milford area.
